Brand Introduction

Zion smart ion substrate, originated from the Mars Exploration Program of the former Soviet Union, which was designed for plants supply for astronauts in long-term space travel. It can also be used for growing plants in space crafts, submarines, arctic stations and other extreme conditions. The commercialization of Zion technology and its related products began since 1990. After years of R&D on agricultural modernization technology, Zion gained unique patent, built mass production system and launched products into markets on a large scale. Zion owns two national R&D centers and production facilities in Europe. Zion has built a comprehensive technology communication and interaction system with Europe, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, the United States and other agricultural and forestry regions.

Zion smart ion substrate, a nitrate-free ecofriendly product, contains nutrients necessary for the efficient growth of plants. It is suitable for any kind of soil. Through ion exchange technology, Zion can meet the nutritional needs of the whole growth cycle of plants! Zion is completely different from the traditional fertilize!

1957
  • The launch of the first satellite gave birth to Academician Sodateov’s yearning for space science.

  • Gagarin flew into space, and Sodatov, a graduate student, has begun research on ionite exchange substrates.

  • The Sodateov Institute received a special mission as part of the Mars migration program, led by Academician Korolev. It is aimed at the activities of small and medium-sized humans in space, developing waste management systems, and simulating space capsules for planting experiments.

  • Invented and tested the first batch of artificial ion culture soil samples, called "BIONA" at the time, and obtained 56 related patents and copyright certificates in the same year;

  • The Sodateov team was included in the Mars Project M.A.B.P and produced a large amount of artificial ion culture soil for experimental planting. The three personnel relied on artificial soil to grow crops and were self-sufficient. They lived in a closed experimental cabin for one year. The experiment was a complete success.

  • With the news that the United States took the lead in landing on the moon, the M.A.B.P plan has also ended. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, "BIONA" was also forgotten. However, Academician Sodateov and his research institute have never stopped the research on ion mineral soil.

  • After continuous exploration, research and iteration by Academician Sodateov’s team, they found  a natural raw material that is more suitable for making ionic culture media. The new matrix obtained from it’s called "ZION". It has been successfully used for plant cultivation in space orbits, submarines, Arctic stations and other extreme conditions. ZION has also continuously developed a series of products for various plant attributes, and quickly entered the United States, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, the European Union and other multi-national markets.
